My children have been going to Wilson Creek for the last four years. I am pleased with the teachers and feel that my children are learning quite a bit. I love the exposure they are getting to all different cultures and heritages as the school really embraces everyone.

My child attends Wilson Creek (about to begin his 3rd year). Overall it's been a good experience. While I've experienced some challenges with having the right "fit" with one particular teacher. I was able to work through it with the support of the administration. I can't say I would not have had similar challenges elsewhere. There are many activities through the year for students, and a very active PTA.

My children love this school. The school has a very good balance of academics and other interests like music etc. The teachers keep the parents well informed of their child's performance. The new principal(who was the asst principal previously) is doing a fabulous job of keeping up the high quality. The PTA hosts various activities that all my children love to attend.

It is a great school and my child has made a great improvement in this school. I have read some of the comments other parents have made and those who have rated the school low either have too much or too little expectations, such parents need to opt for private schools or home schooling. I have never seen greater parental involvement in a school as Wilson Creek. Additionally, the teachers are good and make learning fun.

Even though this school ranks high on Georgia AYP, it is important to notice that in the pursuit of meeting these standards the school has focused its effort toward preparing children toward testing. Teachers spend great effort creating and inputting monitoring data grades. In this environment children become exposed too much stress at early age and loose the excitement of learning. Parent involvement is welcomed primarily for fund raising activities.

I love Wilson Creek Elementary because my kids love their teachers. They also love their friends, what they teach in school, and everything that comes with the school. My kids give Wilson Creek two thumbs up!

I have nothing but good things to say about Wilson Creek. The staff is happy to be there, the principal is excellent to work for, and the PTA goes above and beyond their call of duty. This school really sets the bar high. The principal also won a prestigious district award this year so the principal leadership rating on this site is quite puzzling to me. My son and daughter really enjoy being a Wilson Creek Wildcat!

Wilson Creek and its teachers and administration should have nothing to do with any parents' opinions regarding teaching. Fulton County is to blame for making teachers conform, resort to worksheets, or seem 'fearful' of the curriculum. The new county curriculum is wacko! My friend is a teacher there and she loves everyone she works with, especially her administration. Most of the big discipline problems will remain because those specific parents don't care! You only think you come from a perfect school. They are all facing the same problems and have the same successes in this area. I find the principal quite engaging. It is my understanding that he's the like the CEO...when you have a problem at work do you go straight to your CEO? I didn't think so! Follow the correct chanels and maybe you'll get results!

We have experienced lack of involvement by the principle, poor handling of conflicts, and chaotic implementation of the curriculum that can only be deciphered by the brighter children. There is way too much 'enrichment' and not enough basic skills training for our child.

My experience at Wilson Creek has been absolutely wonderful. My children have been in the school from the 1st day it opened its doors. The Principal is wonderful. He has a great positive attitude and he is very sweet to the children. The PTA is out of this world. They put in countless hours to make every program available to the parents and children a great success. Every teacher has their own style of teaching. Mostly all the teachers I have spoken to love their Principal, their students and working environment.

I cannot say enough about the fabulous PTA at Wilson Creek. They are dedicated and supportive of our children and their futures. The school would not be the same without their leadership! Keep up the great work!

My child use to attend WC. We pulled him out for several reasons - poor leadership; unruly and undisciplined children (some with behavior problems that were not addressed); the lack of accountability and/or excuses by the principal and teachers regarding the behavior problems; the principal's lack of involvement and interaction with the children and parents - he is not involved or engaged at all; high teacher turnover. There were no extracurricular activities for the children (i.e., sports) and no Recognition program (i.e.,Honor Roll) The school was a big disappointment for us considering it's in a sought out school district. Although it's a beautiful facility, it needs better leadership.

My child had not been challenged at all at the school, and very hard to communicate with school.
